Westside Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine is the practice of Orthopaedic Surgeon Dr Mark Shillington. The practice aims to provide high quality, individualised care for patients. To achieve the best possible outcomes for patients, Dr Shillington works as part of a team that includes general practitioners, sports physicians, physiotherapists, and strength and conditioning coaches.
The practice is open Monday to Thursday 8:30 am until 5 pm and Friday 8.30am-3pm.
Dr Shillington is available to see private patients at the following two locations every week:
- Westside Orthopaedics and Sports Medicine. 2 Gray Street, Ipswich, 4305.
- My Life Medical, Brookwater General Practice, Level 1, 2 Tournament Drive, Brookwater, 4300. These rooms are located within the Woolworths Brookwater Village Shopping Centre. There is ample free parking with access via lifts and stairs.
Dr Shillington can be seen publicly at Ipswich General Hospital where he is a visiting medical officer.
Dr Shillington is actively involved in orthopaedic research. He regularly presents at peer reviewed conferences and has published multiple research papers in the orthopaedic literature.
